News on the game and the Pledge Manager!

Dear Backers!

We've had a busy few weeks since the end of the Kickstarter campaign, including a trip to Essen Spiel for the massive game show!

However we are now back and working on Dwarven Beerfest. We have been discussing our art needs with our artist Joe for the new tavern cards and character cards. He will be working on these during December and we are aiming to get all the missing artwork just before Christmas. Once we start getting some drafts we'll be sharing them with you!

We started discussions with our manufacturer however its really early days in terms of production yet!

The Pledge Manager

We've been working on the pledge manager and we'll be doing a smoke test - this will send to a smaller number of backers just to make sure we know the manager is setup correctly. Then it will be released to all backers - so watch your emails for notifications on this!

We Made It!

Dear Backers!

Thanks very much for your support!

We didn't quite make the final stretch goal but we have a plan! When we get the pledge manager  up and running (which we will be working on immediately) we're going to continue to collect towards the final stretch goal with late pledger's! So those final characters and winner's trophy will be yours (hopefully!) when we get to the production cycle of the game.

In the meantime we have to wait for Kickstarter to collect all the pledges and that takes about 2 weeks.

We'll be commissioning the new artwork for all the tavern cards and new drinks - we'll post updates as our artists get to work on this.

We also have translations to work on and we'll post those over on the BGG page for Dwarven Beerfest. More info on that soon.

If you are going to be at Essen Spiel '19 Please drop by our booth in HALL 6 Booth number 6N113 - we'll have a copy of Dwarven Beerfest for you to play and of course the barrel storage!

The Final Goal!

Thanks for your support - we could not do this without your help!

So we're down to the last 24 hours of the campaign and we've just announced the final stretch goal - please let as many people know about the project today so that we can add the final stretch goal to the game - it would be awesome to smash all of the SG's!

Blasting through the Stretch Goals!

A huge welcome to our latest backers! 

Thanks for joining us on this awesome pub crawl!

We've shot through the second stretch goal which means two new Tavern Cards:

At the Golden Nugget action cards can be discarded to add an additional +1 to your drinks roll for every action card that is discarded!

The Two Bar One is a heavy drinkers pub and for every order you make you must draw 1 extra drinks card - especially difficult if you are already gone berserk!

Stretch Goal 3

Excitingly we've already smashed through the  3rd stretch goal and that means 4 new tavern cards to be added to the expansion Under the Table and for the 3d printer fans you'll be able to print a mini barrel or mini tavern for the start player token! 

Announcing a NEW Stretch Goal!

We'll get to work on the sketches for the new taverns for SG 3 but for now we are already heading towards the next stretch goal at £6.5K!

1st Stretch Goal - UNLOCKED!

We're really excited to announce that the first stretch goal has now been unlocked!

That means two new taverns will be added to the Under the Table expansion plus a set of 5 new drinks cards! 

New Taverns!

Here is the low down on the new taverns plus we've got Andree our artist to start work on these pub signs!

The Pulled Cork - This famous wine bar has many interesting wines for the curious dwarf drinker and you get a bonus! When drinking here the first wine that you draw during the order phase is automatically added to your quaffed pile!

The Blaster's Nose - Hardened miners head to this tavern! Old Mylo the landlord allows a raucous crowd to drink in his tavern but don't let the tough bar fool you. The ales here are some of the best you can find in Merriton! What is the game effect for the tavern? When drinking here if you happen to draw your favourite brew you MUST immediately draw the next drink. Will you be able to drink what you order or explode with beer? We'll find out!

The new Drink

This wonderful tasty brew is a cider called Amber Drift! This golden fizzy drink has a deep apple infused taste with a small amount of ground amber added to deepen the strength of this fine brew! Artwork to follow soon!
