3Deluxe Rewards & Production Update

Dear Backers!
We've got a very exciting update for you today!
Production of the Game
Firstly we've been informed that Dwarven Beerfest should be completed by the end of June. Here is a photo from the factory in China of the game boxes and we are very pleased by the look of them!

We are getting closer to delivery but we still need to wait for the bulk shipment.
3Deluxe Rewards
Today we are so very happy to be able to release the 3Deluxe rewards to our backers!
The files will be distributed via Backerkit and if you backed for this level you should automatically get an email notification showing where you can download the files.
What you get in the 3Deluxe files?
The Storage Barrel!
The files include the massive storage barrel! We've included split files for the barrel to allow for printing on smaller printers but if you are lucky enough to have a large format 3d printer you can choose to print the barrel in two halves!
The Mini's!
We decided to include all the stretch goals including the final unlocked stretch goal anyway! So you will find the Winner's Trophy along with a choice of two start player markers! Choose between the Tavern or Barrel mini!
The mini's will be easy to fit on most printers and we used a resin printer to print those. However when it comes to the storage barrel you may find that it need to be sliced into smaller parts to fit your printer. The best software to slice objects is Autodesk Meshmixer. Its a free download from here:
The files will be released later today so watch out for the link in an email from backerkit - if you don't receive an email today then let us know and we'll fix the issue but it's worth checking your spam folder!

Proofing stage!

We're excited to tell you that we have received the proofs from our printers and have approved the game for press!
Printer Proofs!
We're really looking forward to seeing samples of the game from the printers which will be the next step.

Update on Production

Dear Backers
The world is a pretty strange place at the moment and we all hope you are keeping safe and well at this difficult time.
Work at Triple Ace Games is carrying on as best as we can, but things are difficult all round.
We do have some good news though, we have sent the final files for Dwarven Beerfest to the printers in China! They are now checking them and we hope to start moving toward production soon.
Obviously we are way behind schedule and at this moment and we are unable to tell you exactly when the game will ship due to the pandemic and its effect on all parts of our lives.
We will continue to work towards getting the game into your hands as soon as possible.
Pledge Manager
We will charge cards in one weeks time - we will not lock addresses at that time so you will still be able to amend your address until very close to our shipping time.

Production Issues & New Art!

Dear Backers!
We've been busy finishing up the graphics and layout of the game and we had all the artwork in on time. We're excited to show you the 2 new drinks that were unlocked during the campaign!
Skull Crusher & Amber Drift
Skull Crusher is a strong white bier and if you drink too much you'll end up with you brains addled! Amber Drift is a full bodied pale ale that has actual ground amber added for a intoxicating brew!
We've also been busy laying out the brand new Tavern cards! Here is a few to get the juices flowing!

Production & the Corona Virus
So we had hoped that the files would have be sent to the factory in China at this point. Many of you are aware that the Corona Virus outbreak has had a big effect on manufacturing in China and our factory is no different. At this time we are being advised that the factory is not fully open. The Chinese government is restricting travel which means many workers have not returned after the Chinese New Year. This will impact our delivery schedule. We are not sure how long the delays may impact delivery and we will of course let you know when things are moving again. We hope that you can understand the situation that is beyond our control and that the important thing is that fighting the virus outbreak takes priority.
We'll let you know as soon as we have new information.

Dear Backers!
This will be the last update for 2019 so I wanted to get you an update on progress.
Joe has been working on the new dwarves for the game - so bring on the ladies!
The Lady Dwarves!
Why should the beardy males get all the drinking fun? Well we wanted to address the balance and here is the 4 new drinkers in the game! We are still working on the names for these lovely ladies so we'll let you know what they are called - drop us a line in the comments if you have any suggestions!
Joe is now working on the tavern artwork, Andre was unable to complete the tavern artwork in the timescale we needed but luckily Joe has stepped in to do this for us!
We'll have some updates on this in Jan 2020.
